By downloading, installing, or using TuskNotes ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. License Grant

Upon purchase, TuskNotes grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms of Use.

• Individual licenses are for single-user use only
• Business licenses will have separate terms based on your plan
• You may install the App on multiple devices you personally own

3. Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the App
• Share, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense your license
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction while using the App
• Record conversations without proper consent from all participants

4. Privacy and Data

TuskNotes processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your meeting recordings, transcripts, or notes. You maintain full ownership and responsibility for your data.

You are responsible for:

• Obtaining necessary consent before recording meetings
• Complying with applicable recording laws in your jurisdiction
• Backing up your data (TuskNotes is not responsible for data loss)
• Securing your device and local files

TuskNotes and all associated trademarks, logos, and content are the property of TuskNotes. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except for the limited license to use the App.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet all your requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Transcriptions will be 100% accurate
• The App will be compatible with all software or hardware

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TUSKNOTES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App license.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TuskNotes from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.

10. Updates and Modifications

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Major changes will be communicated to licensed users.

11. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and destroy all copies.

12. Governing Law
